maaz alikhan: books are a bit pricey, but the shop keepers hospitality and the quality of the books make up for it. truly love this small place.
Aisha Sha: Small place but lots of books and good prices.
Tawsif Elahi Chowdhury: A store that offers an excellent array of many difficult to find books and other interesting items. This includes a lot of content in Urdu, but English as well. There was a lot of material regarding eschatology, messianism/mahdism, qiyamat, political science, comparative theology, Sharia Law, and more. Much of the authorship is within the purview of a Hanafi lens but there were books with authors more associated to the Maliki, Shafi, and Hanbali schools too. I found a beautifully bound edition of Nahjul Balagah attributed to Imam Ali (AS/RA) as well. There was one book I found discussing Islam in America (i.e. the Moorish Science Temple, the Nation of Islam, the Imam Warithul Deen Mohammed Communities, etc. The store featured a lot of books and learning material for children as well
